What makes Limewash different from standard latex paint?
Unlike synthetic paints, our limewash is made from crushed limestone and natural pigments. It creates a breathable, matte finish with a unique mottled effect that ages beautifully over time.
How long does shipping take for heavy paint buckets?
Orders are typically processed within 2 business days. Due to the weight of our mineral products, ground shipping usually takes 5-7 business days depending on your location.
Can I return a custom-tinted color?
Because our colors are mixed to order using natural earth pigments, we cannot accept returns on tinted limewash. We highly recommend purchasing a sample pot before committing to a full project.
Do I need a special primer for limewash application?
Yes, for non-porous surfaces like drywall or previously painted walls, we recommend our specialized Mineral Primer to ensure proper adhesion and the best aesthetic results.
Is Limewash suitable for high-moisture areas like bathrooms?
Yes, limewash is naturally high in pH, making it mold-resistant. However, for direct splash zones, we recommend applying our natural sealer to protect the finish from water spotting.
